Located only minutes from central Oslo this stunning beach house sits right on the edge of the Oslo Fjord and offers endless views out over the natural waterways of Southern Norway. Spend your days here relaxing and swimming in the crystal clear waters.

The fjord cottage sleeps eight guests and has been recently re-designed and renovated by architect Andreas Tingulstad and fitted with custom furniture and lighting. While the fjord cottage is not very large, the designers strived to make the most out of every cubic millimetre.

There is one primary bedroom which contains four bunk beds. There is also a mezzanine sleeping loft which sleeps an additional four people in two comfortable double beds. The mezzanine loft is perched above the living area and is accessed by a ladder. Each bed features an overhead ceiling window which offers the opportunity to fall asleep right under the stars.

Out the front of the house is a huge outdoor area which offers 180 degrees of stunning views of the Oslofjord, the surrounding islands and downtown Oslo. On the deck, there is also an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, a heat lamp, a dining area.

Only 12 minutes by bus from central Oslo, this beach house is located right on the water and is ideal for people who love swimming, diving and fishing.

Location

As one of Europe’s fastest growing cities this decade, Oslo is buzzing with energy from new neighbourhoods and cutting-edge food, to fashion and art scenes. Captivating landmarks like the Opera House, the Astrup Fearnley Museum and Barcode are changing the face of the city, and Oslo maintains its refreshing closeness to nature that few other capitals can match

The cottage is located in a neighbourhood just to the south of downtown Olso along the edge of the Oslofjord. There are several public beaches in the vicinity of the house, and plenty of opportunities for walks and jogging along the sea.

How to get there

There are regular buses between the property and the centre of Oslo, from early in the morning to late at night. Buses leave and arrive (literally) just a few steps away from the gate to the property. The travel time to downtown Oslo is 12 minutes. The Airport Express Train departs frequently and takes you to Oslo Central Station in just 18 minutes.
