The spacious, creative and light-filled apartment located in a historic heritage building on Melbourne's trendy Flinders Lane is both architecturally designed and award-winning.

This stunning little apartment is tucked right in the heart of Melbourne’s busy central business district. Designed by architectural heavy-weight Claire Cousins, this 75-square-metre apartment delivers a surprisingly big impact on a tiny footprint.

The apartment has two small bedrooms, one bathroom with bath and modern kitchen. It features lots of tactile plywood joinery with heaps of plant life. The apartment would suit couples, singles and also small families.

It features very high ceilings, huge northerly facing arched windows on all sides of the apartment and a decent sized balcony with views over the Arts Centre with a small BBQ. It is filled with natural light and streaming sunshine.

A cosy sleeping nook has been built into a unique free-standing plywood room that can be hidden away by sliding closed a set of colourful wooden doors. There is also a cute little loft above the nook that can be reached via a ladder. Up there you'll find some cushions and a little lamp; making this the perfect space to relax and perhaps read a book.

This apartment is simply the ideal space for a weekend visit to Melbourne… or perhaps a 'staycation' for Melbourne residents to experience the best of their home city from a new, designer point-of-view.
