The history of Amsterdam is intimately connected with water. Its 165 canals were created over the centuries to stimulate trade and transport and reclaim land to expand the city. So, what better way to enjoy a stay in Amsterdam than on one of these famous canals, in a modern and well-design houseboat.

This wonderful and well-maintained houseboat is located in the Grachtengordel residential area in the middle of Amsterdam. It's quite close to the action, yet far enough away from the busy tourist districts that you'll be able to relax in peace and quiet and have the opportunity of feeling like you're a local.

Spend the mornings sitting on the little deck with a cup of coffee before you head out for the day and finish it off with a glass of wine in the evening as you watch the sunset over the canals. The canals have quite a bit of bird-life so don't be surprised if some of the local Swans decide to pay you a visit during your stay.

The houseboat consists of one main bedroom with a large queen sized bed. Whilst the houseboat is ideally suited for two guests. It can take four if needed as there is a fold-out sleeping sofa in the living room.

Despite this being a houseboat, the little kitchen comes fully equipped with all the essentials you may need during your stay including a gas stove, full sized fridge, and oven.
