This newly renovated spacious, designer loft apartment in Budapest is perfect for the independent travellers/ digital nomads who'd like a good pamper. The apartment is in a historic monument building "Pekary House" built in 1898 and features modern furniture, high ceilings and an amazing loft space.

The eclectic and tasteful decor and design details were fashioned by a Swedish-Singaporean stylist with vintage classics paired with modern pieces imported from Italy. The living room is warm and welcoming and shares the lower level with a custom-made kitchen and bar while the double bedroom is a serene and simple space to sleep.

The large bedroom features a queen size bed and large cupboards for you to unpack your travel wardrobe. A vintage reading lamp on the imported French mosaic coffee table to accompany your late reading nights.

Up the spiral steps is a loft space where you’ll find a specially designed hideaway with sleeping space for one additional guest and a groovy built-in hammock for chilling out by the large windows on lazy afternoons.

The newly designed and custom-made open concept kitchen bar is built with imported Italian natural black granite stone, and the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances like dishwasher, fridge, oven, electric stove, coffee machine, washing machine with dryer function, has everything you need for everyday meals and home-made dinners.

The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and has characteristic penny tiles all the way through. This genuine, captivating and comfortable space is truly built for an intrepid Creative traveller's palate.

Location

A city of stunning romantic beauty, Budapest is divided into two distinct sections: the hilly Buda and Old Town district, and the flat Pest district bisected by the Danube and connected by the Chain Bridge. It is further divided into twenty-three unique neighbourhoods, this apartment is located right in the heart of the city between district VI and VII and anchored at the intersection of the famous Kiraly street and “Budapest’s Broadway” Nagymező street.

You'll find theatres, bars, restaurants, markets and all the highlights of Budapest within walking distance. Nearby is the famous Hungarian Opera House, the Lotz-terem Book Cafe, (The Grand Budapest) Corinthia Hotel and it’s beautifully restored Royal Spa, Liszt Ferenc square and St Stephen’s Basilica church.

How to get there

The flat is only a 5-minute walk from Budapest's metro hub, Deák Ferenc tér which gives you access to the M1, M2 and M3 lines. If you take the M1 north, it is only two stops away from one of Budapest's main train station, Budapest-Nyugati.
