Located just outside of Los Angeles, the “Malibu Dream Airstream” is perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with panoramic views from every angle. If you are interested in getting away from it all in style, then this might just be the place for you.
Please note: Two years ago the original Malibu Airstream was destroyed in the devastating Woolsey fires that swept through Malibu and took out, not only the trailer, but the hosts home as well as many neighbouring homes and businesses. But they are now back with a new trailer and set up which we think will simply leave you speechless.
The original Airstream trailer was the personal trailer of a nature-loving Malibu designer who originally built it as their personal getaway from their busy hectic schedule. Whilst the new trailer is a replacement, its by no means any less spectacular. Stripped down to its bare aluminium studs, the trailer has been redesigned into a large studio with three large frameless glass panels that slide open to a huge cantilevered deck with unrivalled views of the pristine Santa Monica mountains rolling down to the Pacific ocean below.
There's a queen sized bed and another pull out sofa that can fit another person - bring your own sleeping bag for the 3rd wheel. Kitchenette, fridge and separate bathroom with complete privacy and stunning views.
Three large frameless glass panels allow plenty of light and access to the main reason you’ve booked this rental: the views. A large cantilevered deck and shaded pergola provide ample outdoor living space and a place to chill and enjoy the scenery.
But whatever you do, make sure not to miss the incredible sunsets off the deck. At night, watch the milky way stream across the sky and count the constellations above. And if the wind is right, listen to the sounds of the crashing waves travel up the canyon or even the seals barking down below.

Need to know
There is no reception at the airstream. So be prepared to be disconnected from the world entirely for your stay. The electricity to the property is solar powered, so be sure to not overuse it as it may take a while to recharge on a cloudy day.

Location
The airstream sits perched on the edge of one of the cliffs along the Malibu coastline about 1 hour out of Los Angeles. The site is located right next to the Deer Creek Canyon Park which offers many short and long hikes that you can do.
How to get there
The nearest major airport is LAX (Los Angeles International) which is located around 40 minutes away by car. From the main road next to the beach, it's about another 7 minutes by car up a steep and rough track. There is not much public transport out of Los Angeles and around Malibu so we highly recommend that you hire a car if you don't have one.
